Fairy overlooking stars.

My latest watercolour painting for a friend's lttle girl. I have used glitter on the name 'stars' so it sparkles when the light hits the painting. This painting is about 11"x14" and was placed in a white frame.

I love portrait photography especially fun kids shots. I can spend ages just letting them be themselves then finding I have captured some fabulous moments.

Airbrush Illustrations

Using the airbrush for illustation work is a challenging but amazing tool for achieving immpressive results. I use the traditional airbrush..not the computer generated one.

Fun children's or Autralian theme murals have been a specialty and favourite way to transform boring walls for for me for children's kindy's, bedrooms, restaurants, and dental surgeries.

A gift for my Dad. Little did I know that when I finished the painting and stood back to view it, I realised a man's face had appeared at the top. It still is eery to me to this day.

Children's Illustrations

I love illustrating for children. If my illustrations make a child smile then I'm happy.

I use many different mediums- colour pencil, watercolour, pastels and acryllic paint.

I love the dynamics one tree or plant can have.

'OURIMBAH'

Watercolour Painting

Commissioned by the P&C Ourimbah Public School as a retirement gift to the Principal Marie Aspinall.

It reflects the "old' part of the school in sepia..(It is the oldest school on the central coast) and the surrounding rainforest which is forever growing with lush beauty.

Caricatures

All my caricatures are done with colour pencil, pastels, pen & ink.

I draw from photographs & they make great gifts.

I usually send them out beautifully framed in timber or black frames on request 11"x14" $200 (Aus) + P&H

'STORMWOOD'
Watercolour Painting
This is another painting I have entered into the 2009 Gosford Art Prize.
It has actually been constructed with 3 layers of watercolour paper.
1. Background 2. Each Gum Tree has been painted seperately and strategically placed
3. Small pieces of watercolour paper have been painted, cut & arranged on the trees to resemble the peeling bark.
Hot Australian summer afternoons with the smell of bushfire in the air
inspired me to paint this piece.
