My latest caricature was created as a gift for a friend. I decided to render it in black & white with grey tones to keep it very simple. I used Artline pens for detail together with grey colour pencil for soft tones.
Another fun caricature just completed of a group of guys who worked together in Telecom and it was a gift from all of them to the main guy in the middle..Eddie..for his 70th birthday! There were plenty of crazy 'work' stories floating around for this caricature so I ended up encorporating a few to create the scene. Lots of fun.
My logo design printed on massive banners displayed on Pacific Highway, Ourimbah, advertising the very first Blue Gum Art Show at Ourimbah Public School, of which I coordinated 100 artists and their works on September 19, 2010.
These were the three paintings I had for sale in the Blue Gum Art Show. The watercolour painting "Stormwood" in the timber frame was the painting that sold on the day. I will enter the watercolour painting "Fern Fronds" and the acrylic painting on canvas, "Sunbakers At Clovelly" at upcoming art shows on the central coast NSW. It's always exciting to paint and just as exciting to have people enjoy your work so much, they want to buy an art piece you created!
My latest caricatures were commissioned gifts to two pilots who were turning 50. They are so much fun to do and these caricatures had so many elements added that helped tell a story of the men's lives.
